Kitchen Transformations
Check out some of our past kitchen transformations and remodels! Thank you to our customers who proudly show what they’ve done to their kitchens.
From Dated, Dark Oak to Bright, Painted & Improved!
Christine & Craig were looking to upgrade and modernize their home. From old style Oak cabinets, we modernized, added tons of pantry storage, and created a bar area. In rich Cherry Slate, this kitchen now rocks into 2020.
Before: Dark, dated cabinets. Old butcher block plastic laminate counters. Dated sheet vinyl. A peninsula that closed off the room.
After: A new painted Cabinet really brightens this room, giving Scott & Heidi the Transitional Style they love. Quartz counters add a top-tier design element. The new position of the new stainless refrigerator (away from the doorway) made a good spot for a pantry, an item Heidi says she does not know how she got along before without having one. The deep draws afford the perfect place to easily store and access her pots and pans. And the new luxury vinyl tile floor in a wide plank adds a textural treat for the eye. Overall, this is quite a beautiful change!
Time to Update – Cheryl & Steve, Waukesha
Before: The usual 1970s kitchen, it was time to bring some new life into this kitchen. The pantry was just worn out.
After: This Kitchen has style, life, and wonderful contrast with Suede Brown granite counters. Everything looks bright and new. This pantry has better access doors and fits the counter-depth refrigerator beautifully.
From Country Oak, Dated to Modern, Textured & Gorgeous – Paul & Debora, Greenfield
Before: The refrigerator was badly located right at the entry into the kitchen, with no dishwasher space. A corner of cabinets closed off the kitchen from the dinette. This kitchen was just an old country style that Debora never liked from the day they moved in twenty years ago…
After: Debora knew the minute she saw the textured, contemporary style cabinets that this was the look she loved. Opening up a partial wall allowed the refrigerator to go into the old buffet space, opening up counter space. Paul tells me adding an island has made it everyone’s favorite place to eat, chat and share good times.
Enhancing Lake Cottage Charm – Pam & Ken, Delafield
Before: Old cabinets not befitting a cottage that blocked the dinette area and closed everything in.
Footprint Replacement and Condominium
Cheerful Grey & White Delight – Scott & Christine, Waukesha
Before: A footprint replacement kitchen, the old oak cabinets with odd soffits, a dark pine ceiling, and very limited counter space definitely needed to provide more storage, function, and fresher look…
After: Adding a large island with stool space, a bookcase end with a charging station means this brightened, the modern kitchen functions better than ever!
Small Condo Footprint Replacement – Pam & Denny, Milwaukee
Before: This space couldn’t change, but the old style had to go.
East Side Historic Home – Richard & Peggy, Shorewood
Before: Dark, old, and plain cabinets that functioned poorly. No dishwasher.
Ranch Re-Do Dream Come True – Sharon & Darryl, Muskego
Before: Flat birch cabinets, everything looked brown and old.
Small Ranch – Big Change – Eddie & Lou, Wauwatosa
Before and After images show how tired, older styled cabinets can be reconfigured in a small space. The end result is more storage in warm Cherry Spice cabinets that create a rich, classic look.
Before: This 50s Ranch had a peninsula with low hanging cabinets that kept the kitchen feeling small and dark. An old peninsula with bulky overhead cabinets.
After: With the peninsula out, the old formal dining room became an island with a fresh and informal room everyone loves to hang in. The old china cabinet is now a coffee bar, and the island is the focal point of the room!
