Full Renovation Waukesha: Why Choose a Complete Overhaul?

When it comes to full renovation in Waukesha, a complete remodel offers the opportunity to rethink your entire layout. Many older homes in Waukesha County feature cramped, closed-off kitchens that don’t suit modern lifestyles. Our team at We Do Kitchens 2 excels at reconfiguring these spaces to improve flow and connectivity with the rest of the house.

A full renovation allows you to:

  • Optimize Workflow: Realign the ‘kitchen triangle’ (sink, stove, and refrigerator) for maximum efficiency.
  • Increase Storage: Incorporate custom cabinetry and smart storage solutions like pull-out pantries and deep pot drawers.
  • Upgrade Technology: Integrate energy-efficient appliances and smart home features.
  • Boost Home Value: Kitchens remain one of the highest return-on-investment projects for Wisconsin homeowners.

Customer Reviews

Our customers are raving…take a peek at how We Do Kitchens 2 has made people fall in love again with their updated kitchens.

"In 1929 our house was built as a lake cabin. It had knotty-pine walls and ceilings! Marilee designed our kitchen blending her updated design with our rustic charm. The kitchen is beautiful and compliments our older home. We kept the original window over the sink, adding old with new."

Pam & Ken, Delafield
★★★★★
"Working with designer Marilee was a complete delight! Her superior knowledge of design and products provided cost-effective ideas that no others had. Her pleasant, patient, and warm customer service was provided by all the installation staff as well. Our kitchen is our favorite place to dwell in our house now. We couldn’t be happier with our new kitchen! THANK YOU SO MUCH."

Sharon & Darryl R, Muskego

"Marilee -Thank you so much for your creative design and support of my kitchen and laundry area remodel. I know my project was a bit unusual and appreciate your willingness to work with me. I love the flow of the layout and the cabinets & countertops are beautiful."

Stephanie K
★★★★★
"Extremely satisfied with the outcome of the kitchen. Marilee and Mike promised a dramatic transformation and they were correct. Start to finish in 31 days. They stayed on budget and beat our projected timeline. Glad we invested in our home with a kitchen remodel vs. replacing a second household vehicle with another depreciating one. Thanks for answering all of our crazy questions and reassuring us through the process."

Scott & Heidi E., New Berlin

"Steve and I have been thrilled with the way our kitchen turned out. We appreciate you and Mike, and the great service we received very much."

Frequently Asked Questions

The terms remodel and renovation are often used interchangeably. However, there is a difference. Renovating your kitchen is refreshing or giving your kitchen a new look. These include changing the paint, redoing the tiling, or resurfacing the cabinets. For example, rearranging your cupboards or adding more counter space while leaving the same layout and structure of your kitchen is a renovation. Remodeling your kitchen is when you alter the layout, such as adding or removing walls, installing new lights, or changing the layout of your appliances.

The associated cost of your remodel depends on several factors, including the size and nature of the project, materials, style, and more.

While there are no set timelines for any given remodel, the project size can cause the process to take longer. Our professional team strives to finish all installations in approximately 6 weeks. We’ll provide regular updates to keep you aware of our progress. Never be afraid to ask for an update.

Countertops can be found in laminate, marble, stone, quartz, and more. Each material comes with its own set of pros and cons. During your consultation, we’ll go through each to find the best material that suits your style and budget.

These countertops are made from sheets of laminate bonded to a particleboard core. You can find this in a wide variety of styles and colors. Laminate countertops are one of the most affordable options, making them one of the most popular. However, its affordability makes laminate vulnerable to warping, bubbling, scratches, and splitting. Repairs can be costly and cost nearly as much as the product itself.

Marble is commonly known as one of the most luxurious materials for countertops as marble is a natural stone that’s mined from quarries. A new marble countertop will add a classic and luxurious style to any kitchen. One of the downsides of marble is how expensive it is to purchase and maintain. Marble is a porous rock, meaning it’s more likely to soak up any liquids and stains quickly. While hard to do, correcting if scratched, stained, or chipped is costly.
